Developed with the taste of fruit punch, this cough syrup for kids goes down quickly and helps your child get on their way to a good night’s sleep and helps treat symptoms. Give this nighttime cough medicine to your child every six hours while symptoms persist. For ages 6 and up, this children’s cough medicine requires a different dosage depending on your child’s age. Administer 10 mL by mouth to ages 6 to 12 and 20 mL for those 12 and above. Each dose of this long-acting cough medicine for children provides up to eight hours of cough relief. The cough formula features the active ingredient Dextromethorphan HBr, a cough suppressant, to help control your child’s cough, so they can get the sleep they need. Delivering cough relief for more than 70 years, Robitussin has the product you need to treat your specific cough, cold, sore throat or flu symptoms for day and night relief.
