I bought these at a massive discount on a New Year’s sale, when I was completely broke from Christmas, and would have been very unlikely to otherwise purchase them (at their regular price).
My cognitive function is pretty impaired from both CPTSD/PTSD and physical injury (TBI), as well as severe, constant insomnia, and I had 2 weeks to study for the Property and Casualty insurance exam in order to become an insurance agent, from never having seen the material or knowing jack about insurance before that time. I was extremely concerned that I would not be able to learn or remember the material at all – it’s a LOT – and had long since run out of the Omega 3s I usually megadose and the Citicholine I try to take to keep my struggling brain a little sharper, so this was a move borne from sheer desperation.
I cannot say whether I felt or noticed anything in particular – I mean, I wasn’t like “WOW, MY BRAIN IS ON FIIIIIIIIRE, I’M LIMITLESSSSS,” but I will say that after studying my rear end clean off, I scored a 94 on that exam, which made my instructor say, and I quote, “OMG,” and the proctor remarked that it was the highest score she had personally ever seen.
So, from not being able to really even form sentences well, and certainly not having a properly functioning short term memory, to completely acing a 150 question exam, I can only assume this product did something good.
I will keep taking it through the end of the bottle and then when it runs out, if my brain function grinds to a halt, I will know for sure. I hope it doesn’t, ’cause then I’ll be on the hook for buying this not-inexpensive supplement for the rest of my days, but I suspect it well may.
I would say drop the $30 and give it a try. $30 is a small price to pay for your memory, if it works for you, right? Yeah. It is.

I have been taking these pills for about 3 or more months. I started taking the regular ones first and they seemed to help me recall things better, but the second time I could only find the extra strength for about the same price and so I tried them and realized they work better on me. They might not help every one who takes them, but I have noticed since taking these that I don’t have as much trouble recalling things that I seemed to forget before.

THIS PRODUCT DID NOT WORK FOR ME. i WAS ON AUTOMATIC DELIVERY. I CANCELED ONCE AND SAID I DIDN’T WANT THE PRODUCT ANY MORE. THEY GAVE ME A RETURN AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS IT. THE NEXT MONTH THE SAME THING HAPPENED. AGAIN TOLD THEM I DO NOT WANT THE PRODUCT CANCEL IT. I have been using Cognium for several months now. When I run out and could not find it at my local pharmacy, I ordered through Amazon. I am so glad Amazon has it as this product is great. It does work. I do feel more alert, shaper and overall, much more in tune with my work using this product on a daily basis. I highly recommend it.
In answer to someone’s question how big the pill is, I have attached a photo right beside a small sticky notes booklet so you can compare it and see that it is quite small and easy to swallow. Great product! Worth the effort to try to swallow it. Cheers!

I had been taking Cognium extra strength for some time, then I forgot to reorder it. My memory went downhill fast. When I was holding a dark green oval shaped fruit in my hand and I could not remember that it was called AVOCADO, it was time to reorder Cognium. It took me 60 seconds to do so.

If you expect instant results, this is not for you. It takes a month to see results, and if you don’t think it works, just forget one or two doses and you’ll see a huge difference. I have been taking for 8 months and wouldn’t be without it. Name recall, word recall and fact recall are all noticeably better.

2.0 out of 5 stars AVOID THIS GLORIFIED SNAKE OIL.. unless you *like* wasting money
I’m getting on in years and one of the many exciting “benefits” of that process is the fading of your short term memory and the oh-so-slow erosion of your ability to analyze and understand complexities. So I’ve been trying to find something that might help with that. Of course, the first thing I tried was Ginko Biloba for a few months. I had more vivid dreams but otherwise I really didn’t notice any improvements. So then I thought, okay, lets find something that says there is *clinical proof* that it helps. And thus I came across Cognium for about $15 for 60 pills (which, at 2 pills a day meant a 30 days supply, pricey but not unreasonable).
I took it at the recommended dosage for three months.. didn’t notice any change at all, NONE.
But then I realized, oh, there’s an “extra strength” version, maybe I should try that instead? So I took that for several months. Still NOTHING.
So I thought, well, maybe I need to take it at different times than I have been? A few more months go by: NOTHING.
Then the next excuse I created for it was: maybe it it conflicts with something else I’m eating (since you’re supposed to take it with a meal)? NOTHING.
Maybe I need to take MORE of it? NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING. Except it did a fantastic job of emptying my wallet. A 60 pill bottle of their “extra strength” (at 2 pills per day = 30 day supply) is over $34 now (Dec 2021).
Oh, and that “proven effective” clinical trial? Turns out it was *sponsored* by the manufacturer (nice little conflict of interest there) and conducted by a clinician who may have doctored results for other “research studies”. There are no *peer-reviewed studies* to back up any BS claims these guys make. Lots of very questionable stuff all around. Don’t make same mistake I did: AVOID THIS GLORIFIED SNAKE OIL.

The product did not provide super strength but it seems to provide the advertised health benefits and AMAZON makes the purchase convenient.
