The scale is pretty nice and also gives you accurate numbers, I went to the doctor and I got the exact same numbers, works well, easy to use and understand also you have the cool app tha helps you keep track of your weight and body fat, one of the things i really like is how easy the app is, have the app open when you weight in and it will tell you and save you and see the progress

What I like about this scale is that the weight is reproducible and constant if I step on it more than once in a single session. It appears to be very precise. I mostly use it to keep tracking of my weight change and haven’t look much at the other weighing measurements like %body weight, weight age and so on as I understand that for precise measurements of this other indicators another kind of methods need to be employed, but it’s a good thing to have in a tool as aesthetically pleasing and financially accessible as this one. It’s very easy to use and can synchronize with more than one user via Bluetooth using the VeSync app.

This scale outperforms my expectations. I really like it! It seems to be accurate and consistent. The app works well, and gives you lots of information. It feels like a quality device, and the only thing bad I can think to say about it is that it only displays the weight on the scale itself. Everything else has to be gleaned from the app.
Not long after I bought this scale, I took my mother to the doctors office. They came out with this same scale to weigh her! For the price, this thing is a great value! Buy with confidence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very accurate for weight. Body fat % a little lower than actual
I periodically use a high-end weight and body fat measuring machine at the gym I go to, and have wanted to have something similar at home. Those I had seen — prior to running across this Etekcity scale — were prohibitively expensive. So when I saw an external review of this machine that described what it does, and at a $20 price tag, I jumped on it.
It obviously measures your weight. But it also computes a measurement of body fat (and a number of other measurements, but body fat percentage is what I was most interested in). Everybody knows how the scale part works for weight — not too hard, you just stand on it. But the body fat percent computation is done by running a signal through the four contacts embedded in the top of the scale. And through some kind of amazing electronic voodoo it computes the percentage of fat in your body. Is it accurate. Well, here’s what I found.
To determine how accurate it is I got on the machine at the gym and recorded its measurements. Then, as soon as I got home I hopped on the Etekcity scale and compared the weight and fat % results. The weight readings were dead on accurate as compared to the high-end machine at the gym. The body fat % though read lower than on the gym’s machine, by about 14%. Now, am I going to fault a $20 scale that is off a little bit for the fat % computation, heck no. I will simply make an adjustment in my head to figure what reality is closer to being. Bottom line, though, is I find this scale to be incredibly accurate, not to mention powerful, for something that cost only $20.
The app is pretty nice. I’m not usually one for external apps like this, primarily because of extraneous data gathering policies. But this one is fairly un-obtrusive, and fairly intuitive to use. Bluetooth connects seamlessly and so far I have had zero issues.
In the end, if you’re in the market for a new bathroom scale, this is a fantastic choice.

When the bathroom scale we’d had for at least 25 years began telling me regularly that I weighed E: 00, I decided it was time for a new scale. I read reviews and considered ratings carefully. I ended up buying this one and am very happy with it. It is compact without being too small to stand on. It has several features, like percent of body fat, that are run by an app you can download and use. I didn’t really need or want that so am only using it for weight. It seems to weigh accurately in that if I weigh myself, eat, put on a coat, then weigh myself again, my weight has increased. It weighs to the tent of a pound, which is great. The instructions say it will weigh light materials, but I haven’t tested that yet. I like that it uses 3 triple A batteries. These are easily replaced (my old one used a lithium button battery that was expensive), and a set comes installed with the scale. The price was great fir what you get (for me when I bought it, $20 plus tax, free shipping). I will be interested to see if it is durable and as long-lasting as my old one. I will plan to update this review in another year or so to report on durability and battery life.

I absolutely love this scale. It keeps track of all your body metrics and I feel like it’s been helping me feel more motivated on my weight loss journey. It also gives you tips on how to maintain, bring up or bring down all the different metrics. The app has a health tracker where you can track your food, exercise, body measurements and water intake. I personally don’t track that stuff and the times I have I use a different app. I have seen this app doesn’t have a huge data base. But you could definitely looks something up in a different app and input it in this app if you want everything in one app. I use Lose It! to track my exercise and food intake. It also gives you suggestions for workouts and nutrition as well as how many calories you need to intake based on your goals, suggested fasting windows, food to avoid and foods to make sure to have in your diet. You can create a meal plan and they have a whole bunch of recipe suggestions. It’s amazing and especially for the price. I highly recommend!!!

I bought an electronic scale a decade or so ago and it gave me a number. However, the resolution wasn’t that great and 100 might be 101.2 or 99.4, the steps were more than a lb.
Well, apparently things have changed in scales in the last decade since I bought the other one and it’s like night and day. You drink 500 ml of water, you gain 500g. The resolution is amazing and it’s accurate. I can no longer blame the scale when I gain 0.6 lbs, it’s not a resolution error.
The app, is surprisingly good and the Bluetooth connection mechanism works well. There is no “pairing”. Open the app, step on the scale and the data is instantly transferred. I’ve never had a scale that listed body fat. It will save all this data so you can see the trends.
Easily the best $20 I’ve spent in a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well – Multiple Profiles supported, but only 1 Apple Health profile
The scale works really well for my wife and I. Our only minor issue is that the data only syncs with Apple Health for the main account holder, which we chose for my wife. Under the main account holder, you can create multiple profiles for other family members to track their weight progress in the app (so everyone logs in using the same user and password, then chooses their unique profile on their phones) . That’s nice, but only the primary profile can sync with Apple Health. But, i do use the data to manually enter it into my Apple Health app. Hopefully one day the manufacturer can allow for multiple users who can all sync individually. Beyond that, its a great scale and I highly recommend it.
